We smooth and level ground with our track loader after clearing, and we grade pads and yard areas. We also grade out washouts and ruts, and we spread the gravel or fill you have delivered.

Site preparation gets a wooded or grown-over lot ready for a new house. We clear the vegetation back and keep the mature trees you want standing. Then you and your builder can see the ground and decide exactly where the house goes.
The work is forestry mulching, done with a mulching head on our track loader and our mini excavator. The cut growth turns into mulch that stays on the ground as a layer over the soil. Site preparation is one part of our land clearing in Toccoa and across Northeast Georgia.
Tell us what needs clearing and where the property is. We look at the job and give you a free estimate in writing.
Lot clearing starts with the building spot. The mulching head grinds the brush and saplings there into mulch. Then we open a path for the drive the same way.
Past the building spot, we cut the growth back across the lot. The mature trees you choose stay standing, and we clear around them. You can then see the slope and pick where the house fits best.
Light grading with the track loader comes on request. It smooths rough ground on the building spot before the builder starts. Georgia's one-call law treats machine grading as digging, so a Georgia 811 ticket comes first.
Across much of Northeast Georgia, the ground under the topsoil is red clay. You can look up your own lot on the NRCS Web Soil Survey. Lots in the foothills often sit on a slope as well. Mulching leaves a layer of mulch over that ground after the brush comes off.
Georgia's erosion and sedimentation law draws a line at one acre of disturbed ground. Past that line, or inside a larger development plan, clearing and grading generally need a land disturbance permit. Counties and cities issue these permits, and Georgia EPD's rules apply where the local office does not issue them. Your county or city office answers what your lot needs, and we point you there.
Census Bureau estimates show Jackson County grew about 30 percent from 2020 to 2025. Only two Georgia counties grew faster. Hall County added more than 23,000 people over the same years. Home sites around Gainesville and Jefferson sit inside our service area.
Our site preparation ends with an open lot and a path for the drive. Foundations, septic systems, utility lines, concrete work and demolition belong to your builder and other trades. A tree service takes down large trees, and a stump grinding company handles big stumps.
With the ground open, your builder and surveyor can mark out the house. If the building spot needs more than light grading, our land grading work levels it. Once the drive is open, a gravel driveway can go in next. We spread and grade the gravel your supplier delivers.

Call or text (678) 776-8002 and tell us where the land is. Say what has grown up on it and what you want done.
We set a time to come out and see how thick the growth is and how the machines get in. Georgia 811 does not mark private lines, so show us any line to a barn or a well.
You get a free estimate in writing that lists the work and the trees that stay. The job starts when you say go.
The track loader and the mini excavator go to work with their mulcher heads. Brush, briars, vines and small trees are ground down where they stand.
The mulch stays on the ground as a cover over the soil. You are left with open land you can see across and use.
